Isn't the entire Hasbro license altogether (?) If so, I can't imagine Transformers being given to this company. Furthermore, if you are Hasbro and there has been confirmed interest from Skybound (and possibly others, can't recall) why would you ever pick this small of an outfit. Obviously they are involved in some way, but I'd be astonished if it's for the whole license.

I also like the guided view in Comixology. If these pirate sites can simulate that, then game over, man.

I used to have Comixology on my phone, but I never purchased anything on it. I guess my status quo bias has led me to consistently purchase physical copies of the books.

Yeah, it is. Which makes this outfit less likely to be the new license holder. Post 2008, Hasbro wanted the same comics publisher for Transformers & GI Joe. The headache of dealing with Dreamwave and DDP separately in the early-2000s probably lead Hasbro to keep those licenses under one roof.

It rules and is very funny that this guy posted a logo and now a bunch of people are convinced he's involved with G.I. Joe comics in some way.
No, IDW still has other Hasbro licenses like My Little Pony and Dungeons & Dragons. It's possible, though unlikely, Joe and Transformers could end up at different publishers. |

It is also possible the Larry Hama comics could end up at one company and other comics in other Joe continuities--including completely new ones--could end up at another.
Lots and lots of things are possible.

It's also possible that they were approved for one variant cover for issue 301 with a popular GI Joe artist
