Good thing then; if they started today, Super7 wouldn't be able to get anything to market before late 2027.

I went thru a stock report where some analysts were noting Hasbro strategy to write the shift that included selling off non core lines and unprofitable areas. With that in mind the price hikes appear to me to be the old tactic of raising prices to see what keeps selling and the things that don?t keep selling either get scratched or outsourced.

I guess the nostalgia wore off after people got the original cast, or having to wait two years for online only reissues of the main cast soured potential collectors? |

I just remember the Lighting Collection original Rangers were so hard to find, and then after that with each wave the figures of MMPR LC became easier and easier to both find and get on discount.

Me too, they'll keep going to Classified but start licensing out everything else Joe...someone here said the only reason we got the o-ring we did is because they used the Transformers fans get sell enough to get the little merchandise we did
That's going to be cool if they retrofit their current figures |

+1 to this ---^ I also don't think Super 7 does a good enough job with their Ultimates that it warrants Classified being essentially retired at Hasbro in favor of giving say Super 7 the master license for the 6-7" form factor. Brian Flynn is stuck on saving a buck wherever he can and unfortunately overall figure mobility is his baileywick. How he gets away with that and still charges nearly $60 a figure is anyone's guess. No, Hasbro needs to stay in the Joe AF business... PLEASE!!!

You wonder what they could peel off.
Star Wars and Marvel would need Disney approval to break any contracts I'd imagine. And I doubt many if any other companies not doing Star Wars want to go full into the cesspit of Disney's insane licensing fees. I'd presume it would be Hasbro owned IPs. Action figure-wise, maybe like I said Bandai back to MMPR? Is Takara Tomy just a distributor of Transformers in Japan or do they make them? Could be another option. |

Yeah, MMPR through In Space is pretty popular because that's all the same era and then some of the rest of first Saban era should sell well, but the rest of the teams are crapshoots at retail. Which isn't surprising because the same is true for GI Joe and Transformers where the G1 or early 80's stuff is gonna sell better than later era stuff.
