G.I. Joe Classified Series HasLab 2023 Fans Choice Voting Poll Official Thread

The results are in and the nomination process has ended. The G.I. Joe fans have spoken and we now have our top 5 most requested G.I. Joe and Cobra vehicles for Hasbro to turn into a HasLab dream project. This process was very eye opening to me as the results were so different from our first HasLab poll. Many people are now requesting G.I. Joe and Cobra base playsets (a most excellent and exciting idea) and more grounded midsized vehicles. A strong showing for Iron Grenadiers has also started to make it's way to the priority list among fans.

There can be no doubt however that the G.I. Joe V.A.M.P. - Cobra Stinger combination had the strongest showing. A lot of fans are after Dreadnoks (including myself) and there was also multiple request for Arctic and Water vehicles. The Cobra Rattler still received a good chunk of votes along with the Killer Whale and Tomahawk. These much larger vehicles may be outside of the range that Hasbro is willing to put forward as a HasLab. One thing is for sure the feedback the fans have provided is awesome and amazing. We want to thank everybody who decide to throw down their want list and dropped by to chat.

I voted Thunder Machine all the way. I would like the Grape Soda B.A.T. with a Dreadnok Troop Builder along with Thrasher and Heartwrencher. Let the G.I. Joe Classified team work their magic on the Thunder Machine HasLab style and you have a winner.

I can't wait to see who wins this vote and I am excited to see what Hasbro has chosen for the HasLab Classified 2023 project. It's going to be an exciting year for G.I. Joe vs. Cobra Fans!

Dragonfly. Didn't realize what a significant part of my childhood that toy was until I saw a photo recently and realized I can tie to many very vivid memories to it specifically. The way the canopy clicked into place, the rubber of the nose, the way the weight shifted and moved when you made the rotors spin...and that's just for starters.

A Classified one would be enormous, and probably not hit those notes the same way, but it deserves my vote just by virtue of delivering all that nostalgia already.

You just triggered a nostalgia wave mentioning those features. Let's not forget the skid gun (I loved that thing) and awesome winch.

Voted M.O.B.A.T. kinda a tank vs. tank thing, give me Steeler up front, with Zap (Anti-Armor Bazooka trooper), Short-fuze (Mortar trooper), (a couple original joes from 1982 to go with the original tank) and Green Shirt (Mechanic) as stretch goals

I'll back any of these, but when it comes down to it I believe the Joes need a tank first and foremost. I think the design team could create something that would eliminate any "it's just a tank, nothing special" thoughts.

For me the SkyStriker was a special vehicle, but the Dragonfly was the workhorse.

I went Dragonfly. Tank vs tank seems logical since the Hiss is out, but an updated Dragonfly makes a good tankbuster too!
