If they keep jacking up the prices, despite people struggling to buy food and keep the electricity on, then yeah... Haslabs will continue to fail until they decide to give up on the concept altogether. Honestly, they should take a year (or two) off on Haslabs... at least until the economy gets back on track.
I disagree, on multiple points here. Unemployment is currently at it's lowest rate in 50 years. I'm not saying that everything is perfect right now, but it's not so bad that Hasbro should stop doing Haslabs. They just need to take a slightly more realistic approach to the price points. Both GI Joe Haslabs were a success. Both TVC Star Wars Haslabs were a success. The Ghostbusters Backpack was a smashing success. I doubt they're going to give up on these, nor should they.

1. No trolling, flaming or Racial Insensitivity. Any form of personal insult is a no-no. As a basic rule of thumb: if you think that what you are about to post is insulting, don't post it. No posting with the intent of starting "Drama". If you feel the need to start trouble, go elsewhere. in reality the top percentile of rich still own most of the money out there. Again not saying you are entitled. |

It seems most of the Haslab offerings have done well, its the star wars people who arent happy with what they are offering, which makes sense, Hasbro seems out of touch with what they want, with huge misses on the Rancor and light saber.
Transformers, GI Joe and Ghostbusters have done well, there have been no offerings as yet from the power ranger team.

I was out of work for nearly 2 and a half years. For a good 9 months of that time I was not filing for unemployment, but if you were the government and using their way of tracking unemployment, I was working because I was not filing any longer. Even though I was not.

I guess I'm entitled because I've been enjoying the Haslabs and think they should continue? For the record, I was born/raised extremely poor and had to work for every damn thing I've gotten in my life.
Haslabs aren't designed for low income folks, in general (I'm not saying low income people can't save and buy what they want). Not sure where that's even coming from. Quote:

I'd love for Hasbro to keep prices reasonable (particularly after their CEO acknowledged price hikes this time last year led to 2 soft subsequent quarters), but specifically here it would make the most sense for HasLab prices to keep better parity across regions. Sgt Slaughter is GBP40 FFS. We'd all be screaming if that's what we were expected to pay. I think that's DLM's broader point. Maybe. Shrug.
