The obvious design would have been Snowjob's rifle, since that was THE rifle from the cartoon. Personally I'd go with an Uzi, but that might be a little too "scary" for Nerf & Hasbro, even if it's the color of a traffic cone.
I think they'd pass out if they saw the Entertech and Larami water guns we had in the 80's. |

It would have been a huge success had they made it look like the laser rifle from the cartoon. Instead they slapped some paint on an old blaster that wasn't all that good to begin with. The recent Aliens pulse rifle and Halo needler are great examples of blasters that look like the source material and sold well because of that.

The market's not there for crossing over with Nerf, just like the Halo guns from Boom Co. they were bought by fans of the video games not people into Nerf style games

Oh yeah, you're right grown men definitely wouldn't have bought a nerf gun based on a cartoon laser rifle. Just like grown men definitely don't buy children's toys and definitely don't have an entire forum dedicated to talking abouut said children's toys. |

These look like pieces-of-art, compared to that Nerf-turd:

Hey that Devastator is badass, never seen that before. And I might have to get my kid that Battle Kata Blaster now that I see the knife you can make. Cool stuff.
