Jeff's quote sums the shit up perfectly. The patches on their own just simply weren't strong of a tier and they needed to be included with something. We're all gonna look back in the patches and just laugh because unlike the bag o' bones and the card backdrop the patches didn't effect the Rattler getting funded.

The take away the JOE team needs to take away from this is if the HasLab tier can't a figure, the accessory needs to "be doin' something," and it sound compliment and/or accentuate the world building experience.

That's why I'm an advocate of instead of patches the designs should have been on flags and banners. The cost should have been the same and the tooling for a flagpole and a base couldn't if been too expensive. The tooling for the cobra head flag topper already exists and this would have been the perfect tome to use it.
