I just can’t see the Trouble-Bubble costing the same as Serpentor. Serpentor is a much bigger figure and, importantly, had an all new unique sculpt. Tele Viper is 75% Recondo in terms of Sculpt. Serpentor has a bit more in terms of accessories (Sword, staff, snake-spear, snake, claws x2, extra cowl). Serpentor also has the detailed soft goods cape. Trouble bubble looks a fair bit smaller than the Chariot. Finally, whilst we don’t know how the Trouble Bubble will be packaged, I think it is unlikely to get the sort of bells-and-whistles premium packaging that was provided with Serpentor. |

The real ridiculous thing about the female SB is that it looks like they are using Scarlett's arms.
As much as I love Scarlett I HATE her figures (and Baroness') because of the lack of articulation. I get the endless reuse in ML where we're still getting old ass female bucks but there is zero reason this should have those old arms. Zarana, Cover Girl, and Lady Jaye are so much more poseable it's not funny. |

I think people forget just how big the RAM is. The Trouble Bubble doesn't look much like it has more plastic involved than that, and there's not that many moving parts that I can see, so the Duke / TF Ram price point seems to make the most sense.
I can easily see Scrap Iron / Drone being a $10 premium above Croc Master / Fiona due to the difference in cost between the blast effects and what CM came with. The Steels and Snow Job are the ones that are going to set new standards, I think. They both come with a LOT more accessories / parts than their earlier equivalents. |

Both were straight repaints, though, which affects the pricing. Televiper and Trouble Bubble are all new. I fully expect this to be closer to Serpentor, unfortunately.

As the Transformers team has often said, it's not the tooling so much as the number of parts and the volume of plastic involved per item that controls pricing. |

Even then, Breaker / RAM was in the same area when it was a new sculpt. I just can't see anywhere near $80 for the set. A couple dollars premium over the Ram? Sure, because of the extra heads. But not more than that.

I expect the trouble bubble to cost somewhere between the RAM Cycle and Serpentor.
I think Scrap Iron will cost more than people are expecting. There are a LOT of effect parts in that image. |

Guess we'll see them at Toyfair season hopefully. Pretty far in the future to announce but alright. |

Effects parts are weird when it comes to pricing. When it comes to mass this isn?t much more than what comes with Ryu from the lightning collection street fighter line

If they price them too high they might rot. Not sure if it's over-saturation or not but I'm seeing more and more Croc/Fionas sitting at Targets and Walmarts.
Scrap Iron and missile launcher being more expensive than Duke/Ram looks really bad IMHO if that happens. |
