Aren't there a couple of unknown PP / TF exclusives, one of whom is presumably the CG?

So it's not officially announced, but that's more because the Target stuff doesn't seem to be announced by Hasbro on the same schedule as the name-only / b&w render / colour render / final diorama shot cycle that the mainline waves get.

I do get the "aw, we have to wait to get (character X)" feeling from looking at the list - even though I'm going to be getting all of the non-repaint characters, I'm typing this while looking up at the mantle that has the ME Joes and all I can think is "geez, we still don't have big characters like Quick Kick / Alpine / Leatherneck / Wet Suit / etc / etc / etc."

Never mind a deeper cut like, say, Heavy Duty, or those "guys you have a weird attachment to" (for me, that's someone like Dial-Tone)

There definitely are about 7 or so figures we still do not know about for 2023. So there should be some more surprises, just like the PP CG and Helix and the Joe Trooper pack were surprises recently.

For the most part the order the figures are revealed doesn't usually correlate to the order they are released. WAVE 12 was sort of an exception I think and not the rule.

The pipeline reveals were introduced for two reasons, to eliminate sites from spoiling surprises and posting leaks as well as to sort of counteract the supply chain delays in 2022. This is also why I think they will only tease a wave at a time now since the delay issues have subsided. Other Hasbro lines started doing the pipeline reveals last year as well, including SW.

Assuming quarterly waves of 5, and that they get through the list that we know before any new characters, and assuming no surprise mainline repaints like Barbeque and the Crimson BAT, I don't think that there's quite enough space in 2023. I'd bet on Helix being part of the first wave of 2024, for instance.

With that said, 62 and 65 are currently unknown numbers. I presume 65 is a Tiger Force character given that the PPCG is 66, but 62 is weirding me out.

(BTW, to whomever maintains that checklist on the main page - regular release Bazooka is missing.)

The reason we can assume about 10 (I said 7, but it actually is 10) are left is because we know the HISS Driver, Gunner and Tactitian figures are #99-#101 and will probably be out around October '23. Using the confirmed list of 25 reveals we have, this only takes us to figure #88. So #89-#98 we can probably safely assume are 2023 figures since the HISS figures should be coming between Sep and Nov. I mean, there technically is a possibility 2023 could even go past #101 a little, though I doubt it.

At this point we obviously don't know for sure. But we do know we currently have 25 figures revealed and those reveals only get us up to #88.

Yeah, #62 is still a mystery. I am guessing it is either another exclusive or a figure from WAVE 12. It is fun to speculate!

Transformers is starting to do pipe line reveals as well too. Any idea when the GI Joe with have their livestream? I am inching for the figures that they showed renders for(Shipwreck, Copperhead, Rock N Roll and Torpedo).

Yeah I agree there is at least 4 figures for Tiger Force and Python Patrol. My speculation is that the Tele-Viper with Trouble Bubble is a Target exclusive following the pattern of Target hosting the deluxe vehicles so far. Could it also be Python Patrol? You would also think Flint , Dusty, Roadblock and Sgt. Stalker are easy picks for Tiger Force since they have the mold. You also have Copperhead in the pipeline so that could come later in the year. Just my speculation because these are low hanging fruit to repaint.

Im guessing that normal hasbro releases will be figs that they can repaint for sub teams and 5hat any non-repaintable figs might be relegated to fans channel online haslab or con exclusives.
