The only thing I ever actually stole was when I was a kid in summer '88. It was in a Target. I desperately wanted a GI Joe catalog, ya know the ones that came packed inside every vehicle, but I had no interest in asking for a vehicle. So, I decided I was going to open up a GI Joe vehicle and take the catalog.

I was only 9 at the time, but I made sure nobody was in the aisle and kind of scoped out the main aisle to make sure nobody was coming from either direction. I then nervously went to a Joe box (don't remember for certain which vehicle it was, but I think it was either the Desert Fox or Conquest). I went over the plan in my head a good 5 or 6 times before I finally decided it was time to act! I attempted to do it once but right before I put my hand in the box some other kid walked down the aisle. I quickly stopped and played dumb like I was looking at the Joe vehicle intently. Once he moved on, I went back to work. I broke the tape, flipped that lid open and stuck my hand inside the box and grabbed the catalog! It was mine. I quickly stuffed the catalog into my pocket, closed up the Joe vehicle box and put it back into place and walked away. I remember thinking I was for sure going to get caught and was so paranoid that whole time until I walked out with my mom and got to our car...and then I knew I had done it and pulled it off.

I felt so dirty. So filthy. So ashamed. So low. But then I was also so happy I actually had the '88 GI Joe catalog! But I felt bad knowing that some other kid was probably going to get that vehicle and not get the catalogue.

I never stole anything in my life before or after that day.

That's my confession! lol

Yeah, I don't know what came over me because my dad would have done the same thing to me back then. I guess I just really HAD to have that 1988 Joe catalog! Hasbro had me in the palm of their hands...even back then! lol

Now she is 2 months and a half and getting stronger by the day. She just got a fever for a day a half but now she is smiling again and on the right temperature!
