I'm actually surprise there wasn't a good guy/bad guy option for Classified. So Scarlett and Baroness bodies for the ladies and Snake Eyes and Cobra Trooper body for the guys

Still debating if I want to make one of myself on a Snake Eyes body but I'm definitely looking into making one of these for my older brother who is a huge Star Wars fan for Christmas. I think he would get a huge kick seeing himself as a Rebel Pilot.

I can't say for sure of course, but I am almost certain you won't be able to use photos of other people, or photos at all. There are already apps out there that allow you to 3D scan with your phone (with varying levels of success). But you have to take your phone and run it around the object (in this case your head) to get the proper shape and dimensions. It basically takes numerous photos of all sides and then digitally stitches them together to create a 3d file. The Hasbro app will probably require that. It's not simply matter of uploading a front-facing photo of yourself.

In the promo video (1:38) they show one of the trays coming out of the printer with various hairstyles, like I said because they're printing instead of casting molds there's no limit to the sculpt

Yeah, it may be hard to get around. But that Xbox 360 camera where you could scan photos to put faces on your Rainbow Six Vegas characters was easy to manipulate as long as you had photos of the front, both sides and back of the person's head.

It's a lot newer technology out now though so probably less likely to work around it like you could 10-15 years ago using pics taken from a computer screen of someone famous.

So is the fact they're using the Blackout Scarlett figure in all the ads for this and as the female G.I. Joe body a bad sign for people hoping for a new more traditional Scarlett figure?
