My ideal game would be something where you were a new recruit to the team, complete with character customization and skill trees to develop. Something pairing you up with three other Joes as you go on missions and build your talents. I really am surprised that they?re going to limit this to just playing as Snake Eyes, and hopefully that may change as this works it?s way through development. Damn that would be rad!

100% agree. Still hope this turns out to be awesome. I never want anything to turn out crappy. But Snake Eyes? Again?? I hope this doesn't turn out like a lame Metal Gear Solid knockoff starring Snake Eyes.

I think you could apply the Hitman formula to a Joe game and it would be pretty dope. Still would need a much larger team and budget than it sounds like this has. Really don't have any hope this will be even remotely good.

If by some chance they actually could pull that off, it then has to overcome being what is basically an unknown (uncared about these days anyways) property being dropped into a sea of other sandbox/multiplayer shooting games in hopes it stands out enough that the public latches on. I'm not even starting to think about what it costs to maintain the infrastructure to support it online.
AAA games, GOOD AAA games cost a fortune to make these days and it is getting harder and harder to succeed. I just don't see Hasbro ever risking that much money and effort into the property, at least not at a time when they can barely get a movie to succeed. I swear man they got away from this cartoon bullshit and got G.I. Joe?s in a dark state they could expand it so much further mature audiences it?s absolute killer stuff man
