No love for Serpentor? Beyond that I agree it is dreadnok heavy, and tough choices across the board. I think like most fans I?m hoping to see all of these get released at some point.

I mean...the Joe Community is hardly a monolith. We've all got different opinions.

A lot of people like Serpentor for various reasons. Scrap-Iron may be an "older" character but he's rarely gotten a lot of development.

Rock n' Roll is an OG13 member with a machine gun and Chuckles is a dude in a Hawaiian shirt.

Shipwreck is basically a "Core" Joe. Shockwave looks cool but he's a later-era figure, which tends to drop him below older characters.

Basically what I'm seeing is: Sunbow fans are representing, because a lot of the characters you seem baffled by (particularly Serpentor and Shipwreck, as well as the Dreadnoks in general) were pretty prominent in the toon (though the 'Noks were pretty prominent in the comics too, so...win-win for them).

"Older" characters tend to win out over "newer" ones, though not always.

It's not as if this is a lost cause or wishful thinking among the community, but there isn't anything written in stone that Hasbro goes with the fan's top choices. Many factors go into consideration for a line's selection. I can see Serpentor being some sort of con exclusive, with his air-chariot and several accessories like extra hands, alternate head, several different kinds of snakes and something like jars of "DNA" from all of the leaders he was created from.

As DESTRO mentioned earlier, this is only market feedback. At the rate they are making Classified waves, it's certainly in the realm of possibility that several of these choices show up in the not too distant future.

None of these really surprise me.

Serpentor is obviously better known than Scrap Iron, but also...kind of lame? Like, his whole shtick is more obnoxious than intimidating. Not surprising to me that a b-lister like Scrap Iron is giving him a run for his money.

Rock & Roll and Chuckles both appeared in the cartoon, but one is a machine gun toting badass who had multiple versions in the ARAH line, and the other is a guy in a Hawaiian shirt named Chuckles. That isn't even a fair fight.

And Shipwreck is probably the most requested character in the fandom right now for a Classified figure, a guy who was HEAVILY featured in the Sunbow years. Shockwave is easily my most wanted, but I'm not going to be shocked (haha) to see him get blown out in that one. Fans of the later ARAH characters like myself are not nearly as prevalent as fans of the early ARAH years.

If it's toons vs. comics then Chuckles still doesn't come out too good, as Chuckles wasn't particularly prevalent in the 80's Hama comics either, and got killed off in at least two other continuities (DDP and IDW, even if he goes out like a boss in the latter). He's really only well-regarded at all because of one comic story arc in IDW.

So yeah, when put up against one of the OG13 Joes (who have a subset of fans all their own who want that "complete set")...it's not exactly a mystery as to why he's winning.

Scrap Iron still has a shot, they've been basically neck-and-neck this whole time.

But I see no way Chuckles or Shockwave gets past round 1. Rock & Roll and Shipwreck have already pulled way ahead on both.

I'm guessing Serpenetor isn't getting the votes we expected because he has been previously rumored to be in the works.

We've got to get Chuckles in this scale, think how cool his shirt is going to be with Hasbro's new print technology.

Shipwreck's one of my most requested; I'm disappointed Covergirl with put with Snow Job because I want them both but Snow Job in the 25th style is top tier for me.

I'm very upset however Roadpig is losing, but in the recent livestream he was mentioned to be on Hasbro's list of figures they want to create so there's that.
