G.I. Joe Classified March Madness 2022 Official Nomination Thread

Hisstank.com is proud to announce our G.I. Joe Classified March Madness 2022 face-off! Board members are invited to post your top 32 most wanted G.I. Joe and Cobra agents that have yet to made into G.I. Joe Classified action figures. There has been lots of talk about G.I. Joe and Cobra figures that people would prefer to be updated, while others prefer the classic look and feel of the ARAH designs.

This is your chance to tell Hasbro directly what versions of each figure you desire and what figures should take precedence in both design and desirability. We are asking board members to be specific when making your list of 32 for G.I. Joe Classified March Madness. If you want a POC designed Iron Grenadiers (like me) over the classic design to be produced first then note these character selections properly. No character is off the table, if you want a Sigma 6 design all the way to Valor vs Venom sound off!

We have had excellent success with our previous G.I. Joe March Madness winners for 25th Anniversary figures because this list provides Hasbro with excellent direct market feedback. Every vote counts and we are asking everyone in the G.I. Joe Community to get involved! If there is a figure you want to see get produced let Hasbro know!

This is incredible! My list of top 32 characters isn't 32 characters long, it is actually very short.

Zandar, ARAH look: I like the classic look of the 1980s Zandar and how it matches Zarana. I love his pink scarf. An updated look that matches Classified Zarana would be wonderful.

Zandar, modern update: A fully updated Zandar with a new look, as long as it matches Classified Zarana and comes with a pink scarf to match her armored jacket, or some other way to match her (other than the shoulder armor).

Zandar. Cold Slither: A Cold Slither take on Zandar in the vein of 2011 SDCC's Cold Slither Zarana.

Zandar with a pink hair variant.

Just keep in mind, Zandar resembles Zarana and is a bit of a pretty-boy biker. None of that uniform-wearing stuff.

A Zarana & Zandar, Dreadnok Twins 2-pack, looks updated for Classified, and matching each other. Their facial features are similar too.

Zanya, Zartan's daughter, the Dreadnok Princess. I'd love to see her in the Classified line along with the rest of Zartan's family. I have no preference on design. She'd just be cool to see.

1. Falcon - Updated gear, but relatively faithful to the original
2. Big Ben - Similar update to Falcon. Realistic, just modern SAS
3. Night Viper - Somewhere between the original and the POC Jungle Viper
4. Rock n Roll - Thor meets Animal Mother, ammo belts a must-have
5. Recondo - Not as faithful as the TF Classified, not as out there as the POC
6. Shockwave - Modernized, think the Classified Firefly for GI Joe
7. Daina - Tank top and shorts, or cammo top and khaki BDU pants w/Dragunov.
Also, I think she was Czech, but make her Ukrainian. Fun OG story there.
8. Torpedo - Modern, think CoD oil rig mission
9. Wetsuit - Also, modern, looks right next to Torpedo, but a few touches of WS
10. Bombstrike - Give her a Joe shirt, but some legit forward observer gear.
11. Low Light - This could be a straight remake of POC
12. Eel - Nearly perfect as is
13. Jinx - This should be pretty easy. Give her lots of weapons.
14. Hit n Run - The Joe team should be able to knock this out of the park.
15. Undertow - Also hard to mess up
16. Law & Order - Modernize
17. Mutt & Junkyard - Doesn't need a lot of work
18. Tunnel Rat - Love to see what the team could do with this one
19. Iron Grenadiers - Updated, but keep that sleek, doomy vibe
20. Repeater - Make him a modern sandbox SAW gunner, give him the M249
21. Cover Girl - Bomber jacket, model face, maybe a tanker helmet?
22. Hawk - Obligatory, right? Bomber jacket, otherwise, update a bit
23. Tele Viper - Go nuts on this one.
24. Red Star - Hey, the Soviet Union's coming back, right?
25. Big Bear - To help Red Star with his imperialistic missions
26. Rock Viper - Again, go nuts
27. IG Destro - Not a repaint, a solid, regal battlefield outfit.
28. Ripper
29. Buzzer
30. Torch - Have to have the original 3
31. Snow Job - Update the name? Maybe Snowball? Wait...
32. Snow Serpent - Classic is almost perfect
