It's not all that big of a change. Their releases for the Power Rangers board game have been alternating between pre-order campaigns and kickstarters. Both are identical but at a different url. That classic Snake-Eyes was a pre-order bonus, now it's a kickstarter bonus.

It might not be a big deal to some but to say one thing and then do another is dishonest.

They may have enough of a history that they honor their kickstarter... So the risk might be less than other companies that I have read about just taking the money and running.

But, they announced pre-orders then they need to do pre-orders.

Renegade Game Studios continues to impress me with their quality product.

My copy of the G.I. Joe Roleplaying Game GM Screen and The Emerald Oubliette Adventure book arrived today.

Game Master screens have really come a long way since the TSR Dungeons & Dragons days, haven't they?

The photos used by Renegade Game Studios for the product mockup had me thinking that the screen would be printed on simple thin cardback much like G.I. Joe action figures are, but this screen is thick, solid, and built to last!

I also had some low expectations for the adventure book, The Emerald Oubliette, but that thankfully has the same level of quality as the G.I. Joe Roleplaying Game Core Rulebook does, minus the binding and hard cover.

Ditto. I hope mine sticks to its scheduled delivery on Saturday. This would be fun to play during the holiday weekend.

Renegade's next virtual con is in February. The new expansion(s) will probably be announced then.

It seems like some people are disappointed about the classic Snake-Eyes being moved from a pre-order bonus to a Kickstarter bonus, but from what I understand, it's not a huge change in terms of how they've been releasing their other games like Power Rangers. On a slightly different note, have any of you tried playing online card games? I recently discovered this site called World of Card Games, and they have a great selection of games to play for free, including Double Deck Pinochle.
