For those that are a fan of Palitoy's Action Force (the UK cousin and ultimately through acquisition version of GI JOE), it looks an interesting development has occurred to get some of its fiction back in the hands of collectors:
Per Full Force: "Battle Action Force, was published weekly from October 1983 to November 1986 by IPC Magazines limited, and brought together some of the greatest talents in the British comics industry of that time, both on the editorial and illustrative fronts including names like Gerry Finley-Day, Geoff Campion and Cam Kennedy. Included in its pages were the adventures of ?Action Force?, created by British toy manufacturer, Palitoy. Four heroic Action Force teams: infantry specialists Z Force, ocean based Q Force, infiltration specialists the SAS and orbital guardians Space Force protected the world against the evil machinations of Baron Ironblood, The Black Major and their army of brainwashed Red Shadows. Now, for the first time in over forty years, Total Toy Books, with kind permission from Hasbro and in collaboration with Rebellion Publishing and Skeletron, are proud to announce an officially licensed reprint of the Action Force tales from Battle Action Force collected in a series of deluxe sized ?treasury editions.? With original issues difficult to find and expensive to purchase in full, this is a collection not to be missed by fans of the original series or for those who only discovered the existence of the comic in more recent times. More details about this exciting series will be revealed in the coming weeks. Sign up to the mailing list at TotalToyBooks.com to be the first to find out more about this forthcoming series." https://x.com/TheFullForce/status/17...040436719?s=20

At the moment, many of these comics are archived on Blood For the Baron:

Ah that probably explains the recent Insta post by BFTB about them receiving a cease and desist for their latest Kickstarter.
I'm definitely up for getting physical reprints of Action Force stories, especially those with Vanyo's artwork. |

Yeah, I'd maybe archive the Blood for the Baron archive sooner rather than later.

Yeah Jim seems to be getting the shaft here. He?s been having a rough time recently with all of this stuff.

Really excited for this for sure.
Love the redux stories too. Shame they can't collaborate and put it all together in Ione mega volume |

Not sure anyone in particular is in the wrong they just need to work together because putting both their ideas together makes for an awesome product for the community. That's got to be a win win in anyones book
