I was first down on this line because I didn’t see a need to collect a 3.75 inch version of classified designs but this Storm Shadow has completely changed my mind. I will likely pick up him and Snake Eyes now.

Storm Shadow has me wavering a bit since I like the design. SE... still not sold on it. Kinda unfair to hold them up against the POC one, but Hasbro set a high bar to clear.

Doubtful, I have tried to get them directly from Hiya through wholesale by asking if i could use a Chinese address to have them shipped to and was told that if any attempt was made to have them shipped to me anywhere since i'm a US based customer of theirs my wholesale account would be terminated immediately. these are specifically for the Asian market. Yes, you can import these from Asian stores like Robot Kingdom but, don't expect to pay 20 per for them (about 35 with shipping per figure). if BBTS or someone else does carry them they will be at an import markup for sure and they would probably not carry them at all as that would put their account with hiya in danger of being closed.

Indeed, it is, but is that Big Boy himself?
Seems odd that an online store that specializes in Joe would have only 3 posts to these forums and only have joined in Nov 2020 without a stylized username. But who knows for sure? Also, if these weren't going to be sold in the US, why are they advertising pricing in USD? |

Well, then i won't have to consider if I want them. Even more odd to push domestic marketing when they aren't available

For the people who think US outlets will be getting these I wanted to post this screen shot because, a lot of people think they have the answers. BBTS, etc most likely wouldn't risk their wholesale accounts with Hiya by importing them. Maybe they do and if they do they for sure aren't getting them direct from Hiya and they are risking as you can read in my email below, getting their account terminated. I specifically received this reply when i inquired about having the GI Joes shipped to a Chinese address as I was hoping to import them myself because they were only going to be available to the Asian market. I knew it was a long shot but, I had to try, that email prompted the response personally to me and the response to all other retailers below that which spawned off my original inquiry. BTW this email is from the company that handles the distribution for Hiya wholesale. all said, this doesn't mean random spots won't import them, I doubt major online retailers would do so but, smaller guys with no connections or accounts with Hiya have nothing to lose and may find it worth it. They also would be charging more than the 20 per figure for sure. You will be able to buy overseas for 20 but then you gotta add on like 15 to 20 shipping per unit so there is premium to get them either way.

Hasbro...I hope you know what you're doing. (I have a bad feeling about this)

There's a lot of conflicting information out there about this line.

Yeah, they are maintaining the 1/18th scale for the US market for themselves. Whether or not they do 1/18th is up to them but, them allowing the license for 1/18th but, not allowing it to be sold in the US and only to Asian Markets ensures they have no competition here when or if they do decide to bring back a modern 1/18th line.
