yeah. I finally saw someone post on another forum why stuff from Ami Ami and other Japanese retailers isn't getting whacked even when it's country of origin is China. And everyone on Reddit was "No, do NOT post this - someone will see it!"

And you do have to worry about those idiots having eyes everywhere. They knew Amazon was gonna add tariff working to prices before Amazon even did it.

I was expecting stores to start doing this to avoid tariffs. You don't need to be a rocket scientist to predict this. Now that can increase the shipping prices a bit since it will not take a direct route and they will need someone to repost to the final destination. But I guess that's better than what you guys had to pay via tariffs.

I also don't think your government can do much regarding this. There is no way to track it or trace it. Unless they start with a policy of imposing tariffs for anything Made in China and not necessarily anything being imported directly from China as it is now. But for that customs had to check every package.

I noticed AliExpress has added hefty “fees” onto these hiya. Hasn’t ordered since the tariff though.
