I started to give up hope in November, but when I asked him to just ship SS and SE, and cancel CC, he wrote back saying the CC was on the water and would be shipped as soon as he got them. So I waited a little longer.

I believe the delay was a combination of Hiya and the shipping problems in Canada. That's probably why TSM got his CC's later then everyone else.

I also got a TSM email that CC is on his way. Finally!

I must say TSM has been easy to work with regarding this situation. I had them ship SE and SS early and just waited on CC. They're listing Hiya Firefly, Flint and Beachhead now. I'm guessing they will only go up as the stock arrives going forward.

So I've run into my first problem with CTC. I had my TF Flint shipped to the UK while I was on vacations. I didn't wanted it shipped to Portugal because I wasn't entirely sure it would arrive while I was there.

It was delivered on Dec 28th by Yodel. Since I wasn't home (or even if I was because its general practice for most carriers to simply drop everything in the building lobby) they left it in the next door building lobby. I know this because they took a photo and I can tell its next door because there are differences in the background. Besides this and most important, it was gone, someone took it while I was out probably because they noticed it was wrongly delivered and thought no one would notice it.

CTC doesn't seem to be helping much, just replying my messages but not even trying to file a claim with their carrier or something. I did report this to Yodel not sure what will happen. But post-sale customer service seems to be lacking at the moment. I will update this as it moves forward.

Oh that's a bummer. I had TSM refund my CC because I was tired of waiting forever - even that was difficult.

Each time I dealt with their CS it was the same person and they referred to another person by first name - so if there's any potential for empathy, it's clear they are a *very* small business.

They should absolutely be committed to getting things right with you, but want to note that experience/knowledge.

These Hiya Joes are really fantastic. The paint job on the heads are meh, and it varies figure to figure. It's my biggest gripe with all Hiya figures. So far, I've managed to get all of the ones that are released. It's just acquiring them that's a pain. The Cobra Commander, Destro, and Firefly are without a doubt in my mind, the best versions of those figures in my collection.

Do you collect the Classified versions or just stick to the 4" scale?

So CTC seems to be open to reship the figure. They are just concerned with it happening again. All my orders from them until now were via YDH which uses Royal Mail and those went fine, only this last one they used CNE and they use Yodel locally.

I told them to wait and see what will Yodel do since I opened a claim with them.
