I was disappointed my submission didn?t beat out lilith as I just see that figure as a female ripcord whereas my submission was a army female mechanic gone mercenary. Maybe that was too normal? I?d post some pics but I don?t have an external host link for the pics.
Anyhoo, so if we don?t get to the 18 what?s in the all-in package? Are we going to get 18 figs regardless, just duplicates of our choosing similar to Longbow? I don?t see that called out anywhere. |

Just hit 500 backers. Put your feelers out and recruit some more backers! I hope this thing rivals the Artwork Omnibus in backer count!

Also, there was more to Lilith than what Carson showed at Joefest. If/when Wave 4 gets revealed, I'll put a little more info on her up.

I notice a lot of people are in their feelings about their submission not getting chosen because of another or...and I'd just encourage that it's Carson's mission with the line to get to a lot of the entries that don't get picked in future series- but you can't have a future series if these don't get funded so keep that in mind.

What I love about this series is twofold: 1. We're seeing a lot of interesting designs that are outside of the box, and 2. The original figure crew is back together, so you know they'll be done well

It's moving along nicely!
I'm really glad wave 1 funded so effortlessly, I was honestly a little worried following up Longbow, and with the HISS Haslab that everyone would be spent by now. Stoked to see so many people put their weight behind this! I hope we're able to see some design progress on some of the funded characters at least by the time backerkit rolls around. I trust these legends are gonna shape every concept into a winner, but my feelings on which figures I might want to grab multiplies of could change as they're iterated and accessory load-outs become more apparent. I was happy to hear about the partnership with Grindstone to make the Recall figures compatible with Longbow, I'll be thinking about the custom potential of every figure's parts as we see more. I do wonder to what degree the team is thinking about tooling reuse when picking characters and planning ahead? If even half of these designs make it through with unique molds that's a heck of a parts library. Makes me wonder if it's possible some characters that didn't make it this round could come out later with a quicker turnaround? Anyway, thanks for all the kind words about Runback! I'm happy people dig her. I hope we get within reach of wave 4 soon so I can talk a little more openly, but I'm still stoked about what's to come. Congrats to everyone who's figures have been funded so far! Can't wait to hear your thoughts, I enjoy your write-ups on these.

Carson said it isnt going to be a team of baldy beardos and confirmed that the team is going to polish up the designs.

I?m happy to hear that, and I?m a baldy beardo, myself.
