That's what I don't get why the GI Joe June month long celebration. Let's do a month long event and constantly remind everyone we haven't delivered on any of the Oct. 2021 pre-orders from our flagship line for GI Joe in the U.S. While other countries have gotten the products first. Send out 40th Anniversary gift boxes to YouTubers to review and show off the toys yet none of it seems to be shipping soon. I feel like it's a practice in really bad marketing of your brand, especially when BBTS is sending out product delivery delays during this event. Basically all the reveals they have shown could have been a single 45 minute Fan First Friday.

I mean...we're getting Obi-Wan Wednesdays for pre-orders of figures that may be out a year from now (unless you're in Australia or New Zealand or the UK). So it's just par for Hasbro.

They like to do big pre-order celebrations.

I'm pretty sure Emily said in that stream two weeks ago that everything had left Hasbro's warehouse to go to other retailers' warehouses. So that adds a delay with the third parties in the middle. Then Hasbro Pulse went and had its big sale earlier this month, which made all of the first-party shipments to customers get backed up a few weeks.

None of this excuses the fact that we haven't gotten any new product in-hand in 2022. It's just a couple more data points for the supply-chain shitshow we have globally.

ETA: Even the Cobra O-ring 2-pack hasn't moved yet. I got the "it's going to ship early" email on 6/14 and they charged my card on 6/16. It's now a week later and there's no shipping information. <sigh>

While I know some places have gotten a few figures, I don't think any country has gotten full retail stock at normal places that stock toys. I think its just that some smaller specialty stores have been able to back-door them from China.

Even that one Tomax in this thread is one guy in spain who got it from a guy in Germany but he also posted the German guy had to order it from somewhere else.
