I am not a fan of scalping in the slightest. BUT, I will say if it weren't for ebay I would not have been able to go back and get all the figures I missed since I didn't jump on this line until this past X-mas.

So figures like the exclusive color-changing Zartan, Firefly, Bludd and quite a few others were only able to be in my collection because of ebay. I suspect there are just as many FOMO collectors buying stuff on ebay as there are folks like me who just missed out on the first couple of years of the line and had to play "catch-up", if you will.

See, that's the problem. It's not a problem for either. Product is ordered, produced and paid for, and profits are received. The problem is with us collectors being incapable of understanding it's all, and only about the numbers, not the holes on our shelves nor the extent of effort/strain required by us to fill them. It will never be about the latter.

A necessary "evil." Scalpers and EbaY have taken the place of comic book/toy store owners and the booth runners in yesteryear's convention halls. The blessing in disguise is that if it weren't for places like EbaY, we might very well be paying even more (as anybody who collected comics pre-EbaY can testify to).

Hasbro went super wide with those GI JOE care packages. More youtubers received this package than any other line I can remember. They are flexing. They are confident in their product.

Yes they are big corporations and I keep thinking of everything counts in large amounts.

On Nam?s second point yes although eBay is full of trash sellers it is like a big s flea market that keeps many prices lower than trashy comic ?dealers?

Sorry friend, wish I would have seen this... I have a local Wal-Mart that had six of each, no joke. I had thought about buying and selling them to folks, should have gone with the impulse.

A local Target had two Alleys, one BAT the other day. They're coming!

The product has a July release date and Emily said they left the Hasbro warehouse a week ago. They look to be right on time. Croc Master is the only one who was originally delayed but even he will arrive before the revised release date. What?s the issue?

It?s marketing 101, the influencers increase awareness of the brand as a whole, not just for the current wave.
