I was going to post something similar to this. I think this move actually helps oddly enough, in that Joe inventory is moving again. At least they are selling vs peg warming.

What's even worse is Targets distributing their stock so poorly that things people desperately tried to find in stores ending up being sold off to BBTS.

Wait - we are actually arguing that trying to screw over Target - and Fellow Collectors - is a 'good' thing? Man, I need off this planet. The lengths that people will go to justify their crooked actions is astounding.

And no - not everyone has a Target five minutes away - or even multiple within five minutes of each other. My 'local' store is 15 minutes away - the next closest is probably about 25 minutes. We don't all live in suburbia - no matter what people think.

I'm not very isolated but my nearest Targets would be 40min from my house so I can't just run over to one every morning to look for CI or Vipers...my point is these toys should have been sold off in stores until exhaustion of supply or sold off online through continuous restocks

What is worse is Target imposes zip code restrictions as a function of their policy then lie about it blaming the manufacture, shippers and nonexistent state law for the restitution.

All of Target's excuses are easily refuted and yet Target still does it.

I have no sympathy toward Target if a customer decides to buy old stock, used their car to transport that product to a different store and then returns it new condition to force the distribution and stocking of new product at their local store.

There is nothing illegal in the above actions.

The customer is spending their own time and money to get Target to do what it should be doing in the first place.

How does it force stocking of new product?

Many Targets just...leave the pegs empty, or move over other fuller pegs of stuff onto them. My own Target will jut put the massive overflow of WWE and DC Multiverse figures onto the Classified pegs, Black Series pegs, pretty much any pegs that are open they get so much WWE and DC stuff in. There is proof they have the new Star Wars figures...they just leave them in the back because WWE is already sitting on those pegs. hell, mine just put out the Dark Rey wave from well over a year go that finally made it's way out because the Black Series pegs have been overstuffed with WWE for a year now.

Me buying up all the Joes didn't clear out new stock again being put up - Akiko sat through nothing, then the BAT wave, and back to nothing again.

Target sold out of Marvel Legends and the pegs...remain empty. Literally one Walmart in all of Philly has put out any new Marvel Legends (South Philly). Rest have empty pegs.

It's great if it works. But is there alot of evidence it does work?
