side note - finally received my SW Vintage Collection DROIDS wave R2D2 figure, after waiting 9 months...

and it seems Target has hired some of Walmart's people to work in shipping. Some disturbed soul used a box that was too small - FOLDED the card to make it fit and crushed it into the box. WHYYYYYY !?!?!?!

Let's approach it this way (sorry in advance for opening this can of worms). Hasbro social person thinks to themselves and posts: "Cobra Commander looks best in his:" with [Helmet/Hood] as options. Someone at Hasbro is (was?) being paid to keep things like that updated. And yes, whatever is posted goes through "committee" before any of us see it.

But why the lack of engagement? Why the silent treatment from the GI Joe specific accounts? All the news comes from Hasbro Pulse now.

Anyway, all this talk of CC and Flint and LJ and movie figures makes me wonder; what da heck! Because I see NONE of that in my AO. Not ONE Classified size Joe anywhere. Even the smaller, cheaper figures are all gone.

On top of that, I check my local Target a couple weeks ago and find 2 BBQs.....on clearance for $19.94!! Went back over a week later and they were still there, so I got them (BTW, anyone needing a BBQ, $20 plus shipping).



Funny thing is, when I used self checkout and scanned one, it wouldn't let me scan the second one. This popped up:

I know it's not a Classified figure, but it is 6" and will be my stand in until we get something resembling it.

They'll probably cycle in the fall when stores (especially the value stores) start gearing up for Christmas.

The most surprising thing to me is that Cobra Commander is full on Classic, not a variation on the Evergreen design

No I was referring to the Retro (Walmart exclusive) cardbacks and the O-ring (Pulse Exclusive) cardbacks.. both are garbage.

StarWars carbacks are also shit.

but Marvel Legends Retro (toybiz style) cardbacks and Marvel Retro (Kenner style) cardbacks are all legit.
