I think they'll make him at some point. While we aren't getting a proper version, Hasbro didn't care about the aftermarket "alternate head" for Cobra Commander, giving us not one, but three versions to choose which body would go best with it. It'll likely just be a matter of altering him to eliminate the problematic aspects from his original design.

As I commented to TheSteelBrigade, it seems like a proper Quick Kick would be harder to release, given the blatant racial stereotypes dripping from his design. To clarify, I want a Quick Kick as close to the vintage figure as possible, he just makes the perfect example of what would be offensive to the same type of people not wanting a Cross Country made.

I think Cross Country should eventually be included in the line should it survive long enough. Obviously, without the Confederate emblem. I won't be surprised if he gets left off the roster either though.
