I don't see any confirmation that these are Walmart Exclusives. None of the other "retro 6 inch" lines Hasbro makes are.

@silveroptimus, do you have info that isn't in the news story? First post says they have arrived due to shipping manifests, then the update is there are listings on walmart.com, which don't say exclusive or anything. Plenty of figures show up on one retailer website or another before showing up as wide releases

I think calling for a change in leadership is a bit strong. Other than the retro line I think the GI Joe team is doing really well.

Interesting. Most people consider that SE the 'Ultimate' version. Of course, that's subjective.

Out of curiosity, which version would you have preferred?

Was a bit depressing. I was really hoping they'd get out more of the Modern Era figures that were subscription or limited like Cover Girl, Ninja Force Scarlett, etc. Seems I'll just have to pay the premium on Ebay for these things.

What is really worrisome is Lady Jaye. There was a point last year where Jar Jar on an Episode 1 card with less accessories was wasting away next to Jar Jar in a deluxe packaging in Best Buy due to the former being an exclusive there. We could see Walmart with the same problem with Lady Jaye.

Agreed, 2021 has been excellent for the Joe team (aside from letting us get that last 1,000 orders in to unlock the last Skystriker stretch goal, heh).

There's room for improvement on messaging, particularly in terms of the transition from the ME Retro line to the O-Ring retro line. We know Retro ME is done and gone, we know O-Ring is happening, but beyond the 2-pack and HasLab, no other information about release, availability, price, and so on.

I don't think they need a change in leadership, but would be greatly appreciative for more transparency on their 2022 plans and long-term strategy.

If I had been making the decision I would have done the Ultimate SE from Retaliation line. However I am a huge V2/Sunbow SE fan. I own about 40 vintage V2 SE's lol.
