https://www.reddit.com/user/Yo-Emily/comments/ Oh, and not that she needed my invitation, but I sent Emily an invite to a movie subreddit I (among others) moderate*. Not sure how many fans of GI Joe she'll find there, though. Most likely very few, actually. However, we do have quite a large audience, so who knows? And either way, any attempts by Hasbro to expand the brand's impact within the Reddit-sphere are certainly welcome. * Although I was being distracted, and made a truly horrendous typo. So I apologise to Emily for that.

I'm curious if Emily is twisting arms to get o-ring carried by stores either brick & mortar or online. I'd rather order where I can get free shipping at least.

Wal-Mart has that monopsony power (i.e., they're telling you what they'll pay you for the toy and what they will charge, not the other way around). No chance in hell Wal-Mart is going to put $42 2-packs or $20 single cards on the shelves.

I'm sure Hasbro would love everything they make to be carried at mass retail. But I suspect O-Ring Joe is a tough sell in an already pretty saturated "retro" market that already includes GI Joe.

A gem of that size answers all my questions.

id like it if she were to twist whoever's arms she needs to - to lower the price of these by half. and then do it again; until they're the same price as those 25th anniversary new sculpt "retro" things.

I'd love it if she twisted some arms about getting Zandar made.

Curious how cheap the o-rings could be if they were shipped in a tiny box disassembled not unlike model kit, but fully painted and riveted.

We get it. You know what I do when I think something costs too much/can't afford it? I don't buy it. The only time I bitch about it is when it's a necessity and I have to buy it.
