They did. Remember Snowflake and Safe Space? Marvel is trash.

I don't favor the idea of Snake-Eyes being brought back personally. It is unarguably the most requested change though. The brightest idea I saw is that Snake-Eyes used the Serpentor death to go deep underground within the Blue Ninjas and destroy them from the inside. Tim Drake was chosen because he is an open acting Christian with the longest term relationship with a woman. His and Stephanie's relationship was inspirational.

We are on issue 287. So if they have up to 291 or so in the hopper already, and if IDW gets a twelve month notice of license loss like DDP did, then hitting issue 300 should be about in the ballpark.

I just want Larry Hama to be able to finish his run then I hope they can start another long-running reboot. IDW could never keep the other titles running for very long. It was the same with DDP where they would run for maybe 24 issues then reboot again.[/QUOTE] What run? Hama admits he writes comics page by page (it shows) so there is nothing really to wrap up. I started reading RAH with issue #2. Once he killed Cobra Commander the comic started going downhill and after maybe issue 120 the first run was pretty bad. I liked the first few years of the reboot but every since he killed Snake Eyes it's been pretty awful. The Dixon reboot was pretty good. The last reboot was an insult. I would assume a new publisher would definitively do a reboot but also might keep Hama and RAH going for continuity. Where ever it goes I just want to see some decent artists on it. Marvel is probably the best place even with it's issues as they will put some money in it. If it goes Independent I'd like it to go to the company doing the new Conan comic. That is a quality book. |

Comic sales being at a high in the past decade has more to do with the huge push of the indie/crowd funding scene then Marvel/DC doing anything great. That and analytics now lump comic sales in with manga sales since most comic book stores now *need* manga (and merchandise) to stay afloat.
IIRC, Marvel/DC Publishing are still working at or close to a loss and Disney/AT&T simply keep them around as IP farms. |

Because Chuck Dixon, who wrote the 3 miniseries and first 100 solo issues, has actually admitted to thinking of Tim as Jewish. I hate the idea of changing established characters to fit current narratives. We had over 30 years of reading Tim's thoughts and narration boxes. He was straight, but if anything, driven. Oh well. |

I just had a thought, if the G.I. Joe license is available then why don’t we, as a collective, pool our resources and apply for the license as a fandom?
Wedge1968 says he has a really good proposal, we could probably find an artist within the community or, again with pooling our resources, hire an artist. This could be done as a crowdfunding thing from within the community itself. |
