Would it be possible to tap the flat end of the elbow rivet to seat it in tighter? Mine slides back and forth and didn't know if that would fix

On edit: post pics of the issue, it may be easier to guide you through the process if we can see exactly what's going on.

My man. No repayment required, ever. If you're looking to dump the Joes let me know and I'll buy them from you.
I'm hoping for at least an all star old school roll out of A listers. Though, without Toys R Us to buy them from the experience will be greatly diminished.

...and, for my third post in a row:
Scarlett can actually hold that crossbow, albeit not as intended. Remember: no broken thumbs...

Definitely, but get the arm warm first with hot water and be careful. if you have something rounded to tap the concave side against, it should help keep it in position.

I kind of feel bad, I plan on opening my figures but I got perfect cards and blisters. It always ends up that way lol
I will say some of the figure's heads look sort of waxy and matte and don't have the shiny glossy sheen the originals all had.

Above all, be careful, and don't apply too much pressure. I can't stress the need to be gentle enough.

After offering up my CC and Ace, I found myself wishing I'd have held off on opening the keeper figures and offering them as well, but I just couldn't wait.

I see, looks as though the rivet wasn't "shortened" enough by whatever process they use at the factory to hammer them closed. The first thing I'd try is getting the arm hot, wrapping a handtowel or even a sock around the elbow, and use a pair of pliers to *gently* squeeze the joint parts closer together. The rivet could potentially be stuck in the plastic on one side or the other, whichever side of the rivet doesn't pop out might be your culprit. You'll then want to try gently pushing from the side that DOES pop out, just to free the rivet up and get it moving (you may need to reheat it at this point). From there, you'll definitely need to hammer the rivet as mentioned in my previous post.
Above all, be careful, and don't apply too much pressure. I can't stress the need to be gentle enough. |
