I think you need the peg to hold them down in the seats or else the legs will push them up into the canopy. The legs on these figures don't like to stay in a seated position but want to straighten.

My Skystrikers all came in yesterday. I waited until my daughter came home and we opened one and put it together last night. We took our time and had little issues with anything stressing or worse. Overall, she thought it was cool it was a remake of my original sitting up on the shelf. Now, she wants to do the decals. It'll be hers one day, so why not?

Ok whats the trick with the wings? What angle do I need to come at them with to get them on?

I found they went in easiest with wings extended and I rested the fuselage upside down on my thigh (so, do the vertical stabilizers last) so I could steady it and see the connections. Had to wedge a thumb inside the wing because they wanted to retract with pressure. Try to push in straight, if it won't go, pull back and try again DO NOT wiggle up and down.

Ill give that a go. Ive tried to see if there was any YT "unboxing" vids that showed someone doing it but they all cut it out because it was a pain in the ass.

these are double boxed so yes it happened at the factory
the way they stacked/packed the cards seemed a bit precarious to me

Upon closer inspection some of the bubbles weren't sealed the best to the cardback, and I could see some minor white specs here and there. Stuff I don't personally care about, but I'm sure drive some of you guys nuts. My daughter thought the whole thing was cool and wanted me to take Scarlett out of the packaging.

This is an extremely cool setup. The only downside was the hose for the gas was just straight up sliced. It was wound up but I could tell that the tube itself was not actually attached. I'll see how peoples success is with Hasbro and the lesser accessories before reaching out - its nowhere near a dealbreaker for me as I can probably find a way to fuse it and still take advantage of the play feature with my kids.

The seat pegs have been discussed, but it overall it feels like trying to get 2 figures in at the same time with the seats is a lesson in patience.
