We don't actually know the actual cause(s) of the delays Classified is facing. If it's overseas shipping, then there shouldn't be any delays so far. If there are supply chain or logistics issues that would impact the final sculpts and manufacturing of tooling, then we might know sooner than later if we should reasonably expect a delay - again, if Hasbro is up front about their communications on this project. The only update I saw was confirmation from Emily that the all the Skystriker figures, including stretch goals, will come on cardbacks with plastic bubbles. With the move to plastic-free packaging, there was some uncertainty if this set would be effected by that.

I just watched the new Top Gun and it was freaking awesome. I can't help but think what a lost opportunity it was to not have the skystriker haslab in June 22 instead of last fall. Really a seriously bad decision on hasbro's part. Anyways, if you're wanting some skystriker action right now, go see top gun!!!!

Considering how far out these things are from conception to execution, I can't help but think that this was intended to coattail on the movie's release- I don't recall the initial projected release for the film, but I do recall hearing that it had been postponed. I think it's more comedy of errors than bad decision making, TBH.
