Unless they fold up the line, Classified will get at least one crack at a Haslab in the next year or two, regardless of Skystriker's outcome. I can't imagine they wouldn't at least try the hotter Joe property once.

Or something like MOTU Revelations. A big new show that ties into the old one for new audiences, get some of that nostalgia going and wake up old fans.
It's funny cause GI Joe Resolute felt like it was Revelations style "return/reboot" that the brand needed, but it came at a time when they were focused on their new movie and already had another animated project planned |

If the Skystriker doesn't fund it's not "deth of teh line." Or even the death of future GI Joe Haslabs. It MIGHT be the death of the O-Ring relaunch, though, especially coupled with the seemingly-slow sales of the 2-pack on Hasbro Pulse.
I do think Hasbro will take into account that three HasLabs at once right in prime Christmas Shopping season may have been a bridge too far. Even if the studies show that people spend more money (even on themselves) at Christmastime, it was a bit much. Though they may have been hampered by production schedules and whatnot, especially given how chaotic the logistics side of things continues to be. I think the Rancor simply lacked a "wow factor" to it. I collect Black Series but had zero interest. But if you'd thrown a tricked-out Luke Skywalker's X-Wing or even Darth Vader's TIE Fighter in 6" scale at me? I'd have gladly sold a kidney to afford it if I needed to. The Skystriker does have a "wow" factor (IMO) with all the add-ins and improvements, but as noted...it's kind of an oddball in that it's not supported by any current line. I'd like to see it fund (and hit its tier goals) for the folks that still want O-Ring product, but as others have said I'm not that interested in going backwards. I probably wouldn't even have bit on an ME version at this point (though I'd have been more tempted). But a tricked-out Classified HISS or MOBAT would have definitely pulled me in. The O-Ring relaunch happens whether the Skystriker funds or not.
I don't know if I'd call the SE/SS sales slow. I guess it depends on what the forecasts were. Over 10k units have sold. |

It doesn't help that the fanbase more than anything is so fractured between different toy lines. O-ring was a huge mistake to me, I know it's got fans but so many had moved onto modern style figs and for the Haslab to be focused on an attempted brand reboot of O-ring? That's a hard sell.
Who remembers all those lull years where G.I.Joe was basically dead, and people were complaining about it? Now, it's too much product, and folks expect Hasbro to produce only what they want? Personally, I've not had so much fun collecting new Joe toys since 1994, and am so happy I get to collect new o-rings, Classified, Ultimates and Jada diecast!

It feels like Resolute with a bigger push could have been something huge like the recent Netflix reboot shows |

We just had a pop up over 8k. C'mon...
It's going to be hard to be productive today. To Emily and the team: best of luck. |

I guess the retailer/overseas bump for the Rancor wasn't that much or had already been added in. As silly as it sounds, it's a little depressing. I really want the Skystriker to get funded, I've done all I can. I wish I could do more. If only that lottery ticket I got last week had been a winner lol.
