I just got a package from SKELETRON!!!!!!!

I really want to open it, but I'm putting it under the tree. I'll post pics next week!!!

Hadn't realized I'd ordered 2x sets of Drones, so I'm keeping the 2nd MoC as a bonus. The 3 Drones I opened are *chef's kiss* awesome li'l buggers. I had only realized they'd have leg artic a couple weeks ago so I'm extra impressed by their playability. The looks are a step above for what I'd thought were mere accessories. These look better than many deluxe action figures do. *SO* happy with these.

They are surprisingly great for such a small thing!

Got mine in the mail today too. It's a shame the cardback is non-resealable; I've traditionally been an opener, but I'll feel a little guilty opening this one up, as it's pretty cool, with each of the 3 droids being posed differently to show off their functionality. The card stock is pretty sturdy, too, which probably helps contribute to the "premium" feel.

I also like the product warning on the back: "Not suitable for children. Contains small parts, sharp edges, and bad influences." (emphasis mine)

I believe today is the last day to get those Skeledrones at the preorder price of 15 per 3. I was able to get a few orders of that in, and some o-rings before the new year.

Last night's update on the Roboskull MK-II toyline - now looking at late summer still awesome to see an update:

In our December 3rd update, we mentioned that some of this project (Assassin Skeledrones) was ahead of schedule, some was pacing on time, and some progress was running a bit behind where we would ideally like it to be. We have continued to work closely with our factory team since that time, and our overall progress is not as far along as we would like it to be heading into the Chinese New Year. Based on our most recent review, we believe that our fulfillment timeline must be revised, and we are now projecting that the balance of fulfillment will likely occur in late summer.
