G.I. Joe Classified Series HasLab Fans’ Choice Nomination Official Thread
One of the biggest gifts that Hasbro could give G.I. Joe Classified Series fans is their very own HasLab project. The diversity in selection and it’s likelihood of being funded are one of the ultimate debates among G.I. Joe fans. Today we are starting up the nomination process that will lead to the top 5 most requested vehicles – playsets in G.I. Joe vs Cobra lore to be voted on in the future. There may be no guarantees that the Hasbro G.I. Joe team will be able to give us the winner of this event, however it will undoubtedly be excellent feedback.

For me it's about larger vehicles or playsets. IMO we are going to see vehicles as big as the H.I.S.S. Tank, VAMP, and even Water Moccasin. I think these are reasonable enough to pull off at Retail for an exclusive at Target or Walmart. I also think before we get any kind of HasLab project, Hasbro will test the waters to see how they perform.
So having said that here are my top 5 1) H.I.S.S. Tank Reworked with LED's and the works... 2) Dreadnok Thunder Machine with Thrasher 3) Skystriker with Ace 4) Cobra Rattler 5) Cobra Moray Hydrofoil Pie in the sky selection would be a Cobra Terror Drome. Not the full play set but a front facing section of it. I think that would be super bad ass!

Tactical Battle Platform.
Could you imagine it? Oh man. Classified scale Tactical Battle Platform. I'd settle for: Hydrofoil Night Raven I do love the Terrordrome idea a lot.

I would like to see playsets for Classified. I know I'm not collecting Classified but it would be pretty badass to see:
1. Outpost Defender 2. Alpha Checkpoint 3. Cobra Bunker 4. LAW 5. Cobra Surveillance Port But I'm guessing those would be more of a retail offering. I guess a great HasLab offering would be: 1. Tactical Battle Platform 2. Mobile Command Center 3. Terrordrome 4. Defiant 5. Rolling Thunder Last edited by sbartek1974; 07-30-2021 at 03:44 PM.. |

I would prefer a Haslab 4 inch project BUT since that's not the question I would like Classifieds ...
1. Thunder machine with Thrasher 2. Night Raven with pilot 3. Mauler with Heavy Metal 4. HISS with SMS or Asp and Hiss driver 5. Rattler with Wildweasle |

I think the HISS Tank is the most likely first project. It's iconic. It's not an existing military design. And it's modest for a first project (kind of like the Sentinel for Legends).

I'm going to go a bit out there for my first choice:
1. The Missile Command Headquarters With the Missile Command Headquarters you have a play set and display for your figures. Plus, the Missile Command HQ is generic enough that other lines could also use it. This could be this line's equivalent of NECA's TMNT building display. My remaining top four: 2. Sky Striker The Sky Striker would be a great display item for GI Joe fans and fans of other military properties. However, I think the price tag on this would make it a bit two unrealistic. Size and possible having to license the jet could cause backing price to be too high. 3. MOBAT The MOBAT has a much smaller chance than a HISS Tank occurring outside of Haslab plus once gain this works well with other lines 4. Night Raven The Night Raven would have crossover appeal with X-Men fans. 5. Cobra La Boxset Listen, Cobra La has no chance of ever happening because of all the new tooling required. I do feel like Hasbro could try and use Haslab to fund boxsets that require additional tooling beyond what's possible at retail. Plus they could sell the Cobra LA guards separately. I do feel like medium size vehicles like the Vamp, Stinger and Hiss could happen outside of Haslab so they aren't included here

That is the #1 safest bet to be the first Classified Vehicle of that size class to be at big box retail without HasLab. It's not a complex design and people would eat those up.
