Don't shoot me. Hear me out for a second. I know they are two different lines but the Retro series has seen two HISS tanks already. Im kinda tired of the Hiss in all honesty. Sure it has staying power and its an iconic tank to the line. Id rather see a Vamp and a Stinger which would require minimal extra work since they are similar less the weapon platform and armor plating. They could even pair them in the same box with Clutch and Cobra vehicle driver.

If we're going for vehicles I'd want at retail:
1. MOBAT w/Steeler 2. SHARC w/Deep Six 3. HISS Tank w/Driver 4. Firebat w/AVAC 5. Dragonfly w/Wild Bill For HasLab, maybe: Tomahawk w/Lift-Ticket Killer WHALE w/Cutter Rolling Thunder Mobile Command Center The Defiant |

My thoughts/recommendations on a Classified HasLab project:
- Don't include a figure. If you have to include one, treat it like a well thought out SDCC exclusive. No fan favorites, no army builders. Go with a variant or obscure character. - Don't do a small vehicle that could see retail release without HasLab. I love the Ferret, but let's aim higher. - Don't do a larger vehicle that could see retail release because of potential part reuse. I'd love a Cobra Stinger, but I feel like it's got a shot at retail since the mold can be reused to make Vamp, Vamp II, Tiger Sting, and Dreadnok version. - Don't do a larger vehicle that won't display well. Airplanes and helicopters are hard to display nicely. Rotors take up a lot of space. Some planes sit really flat on a shelf. - Don't do a larger vehicle that won't display with figures. The Night Raven is beautiful, but it's hard to build a display around. The same for vehicles that only seat one figure. I'd lean toward a vehicle that offers lots of interaction with figures. My list: 1 - Moray 2 - Stun 3 - HAVOC 4 - DEMON with Despoiler 5 - BUGG Shoot for the moon idea? Transportable Tactical Battle Platform with a Sky Hawk for the helipad. Later on release an Armadillo that fits on the ramp, then do the Night Landing raft and Hydro-Sleds for Cobra. Each follow-on vehicle is small enough for retail release, but also fit seamlessly into the HasLab release!

Quoting myself from a thread 3 years ago for Hasbro/HasLab:
Quote:
I think a creative designer at HasLab could pull off a GI Joe Pit/ Star Wars Death Star playset with relative ease. A few simple textured wall changes, accessory swaps, different decals and viola! Both camps are happy and cha ching! Hell, they've already done it with the Cobra Mountain/ Attack of the Clones playset and then there was the Star Wars Mustafar playset updated for the Indiana Jones Crystal Skull line.

That's true. However, both of those sets were 1/18th in scale. This thread is (in spite of what other have posted) dedicate to a CLASSIFIED HasLab project.

Has anybody done the math on this?
How big a classified scale hiss tank would be? How long a classified scale night raven would be? After seeing the WWE "Slam-bulance" at Target, I actually am less skeptical the HISS could be done at retail.

The Night Raven would be about 45" at 1/12. So it seems like the the Night Raven would be more likely as a HasLab project.

We are going to start putting together the list for the final five shortly. Closing arguments?
