[Standard Issue]

I'll purchase this. I support "third party" folks putting in their versions, much like it is within the Transformers world.

Fans Hobby made an incredible Sky Hawk with their VE-01 Air Eagle and they are working on their Striker version.

I fully support Grid Iron, hope they continue. Since Hasbro decided to change the original A.W.E. Striker design with this render, I say more power to third party teams putting their variants in the hat.

The issue i have with it, while nice, is the price, yes its 3rd party, but its likley $99 more than what Hasbro will ask for the AWE Strike which is basically the same vehicle, now we have not seen what Hasbro will be asking for the AWE Striker, but it should be cheaper, will see after the tariffs are put in place tomorrow, i expect toy prices to increase.
Like i said, this is a nice piece but other than the large cannon being gone, the AWE striker looks good as well and for less.

Both the Gridiron product and the Hasbro one are close matches for the real world DPV/FAV, although Hasbro's one is actually closer, imo.

I would definitely say the original AWE Striker was influenced by that same vehicle too, but maybe a little less directly.

Nope, the flame effect is from a 4" NF Charbroil figure and the missile exhaust is from a larger Gridiron drone.

Splitting insignificant hairs, I think GIS revealed theirs on the evening of 31 January about 12-16 hours before the digital reveal on 1 February. I had wondered at the time if they were trying to beat Hasbro and had a good laugh when I saw the digital render the next morning. How incredible is it that we're getting multiple companies churning out Joe products 40+ years later!

They do look great, I actually like these better than their bigger versions. Sadly no, I don't think Gridiron has done any motorized drones or vehicles since starting.
