BBTS selling Grid Iron is great news. I hope G.I. doesn't suffer any negative impacts from this expansion.

I wonder if G.I. will become so profitable that they can branch out from 3d printing for their general production.

As for GIS, if it's like most things, they may be required to lower prices (or agree to discounted prices) in order to sell through other sites. Maybe BBTS doesn't require as much, but even Steel City Publishing's Creating G.I. Joe books get a significant price cut from time to time. Could be interesting to see how much additional product they sell there.

I think it is the cold of the East Coast but anyone else on here experiencing Grid Iron's weapons becoming brittle, bending, and breaking? I just tried to insert the magazine into one of their standard AK rifles and it snapped in half. Since the plastic around the magwell is thin, it kind of flaked and there's no super gluing it back on.

I've had barrels and stocks break before when trying for some more "human" accurate weapons holding with the figures and was able to plastic bond these back together but this AK was in shambles and needed to be thrown out.

I've had about 3 or 4 GIS items break on me, and a 50 cal that developed severe warping just from the weight of a dinky blast effect. I live in Florida, and I'm fairly gentle with my toys. But I've had barrels, stocks, foregrips, and backpack pegs break on me.

The backpack peg was extra frustrating because it was the second time I bought the same backpack. The first time was when they were still including a strip of 3m tape instead of a peg. I got annoyed when they updated the packs to have pegs, so then I bought one of those only for it to break, ha.

Maaaaaan...that would irritate the fire out of me. Have you said anything to them?

I bought that first iteration Roadblock backpack (gray pack/black gun) that used the adhesive strip. I tapped a hole and popped in styrene rod. Want to say it's 5mm? If you are interested I can check.
