I guess that means Rise of Cobra was 2Fast2Furious? This is a REBOOT! For those that want ARAH era movie narratives, watch all of the animated series and the Gi Joe Movie. This line is damned lucky it even got revived. Outside of most of us 40+ diehards, nobody is clamoring for more Gi Joe content. How many more plots involving ARAH based characters can we get? FnF got 10 total movies and should have stopped about 5 movies ago. We’ve had 3 decades of ARAH….might be time to let it go. From what I’ve seen this movie actually has plot, acting and writing…as opposed to riding on the backs of “Tater” and “The Rock”, probably the worst actors pound for pound of our era, ridiculous green screen cheese special effects and has-been actors like Willis and Quaid, and you’re calling this “Tokyo Drift”? There’s a reason why there’s a Costco and a Sam’s Club…Walmart and Target……there is a distinction between people who shop at these franchises…and different people appreciate more than played out characters, plots and narratives…but some still appreciate it. You decide which one you are and let the rest of us do the same.
I would've rather have had a second season of Renegades. |

Heck, I'd take more Sigma Six. At least we got to see those figures in action.

Thank you for mentioning Jahns's review. I think he's a VERY trustworthy, level-headed reviewer, & his review completely eviscerates this movie. Look, any of you go see it & enjoy it, good for you. Any of you are on the fence, don't give this dreck your money, the overwhelming odds are you are going to be disappointed.

Didn’t see it . Have no plans to see it . Didn’t see the first 2 in theaters either . Rented them on Redbox . Would still like a refund for wasted time. I said months ago this was going to be garbage even before the first preview. The first preview confirmed that . They need to quit making live action Gijoe movies because they will never work. Mainstream Hollywood is to Woke , and politically bias . They Fucked up Star Wars, Game Of thrones , the walking dead, Motu, etc ....... their agenda of trying to change the past will never work ! If they want to make Woke movies and tv shows then Fucking create and come up with original stories , and characters . That being said I canceled most of my preorders on this line . Keeping the Scarlet and Baroness. I hope the New animated series coming out kick ass. But I will not be surprise if they Fuck that up to !

I'm just saying this is not a good performance for Snake-Eyes, so we should all brace ourselves for whatever those ramifications are. G.I. Joe is probably going to be absent at the box office for many years now. The 8 years between Batman & Robin and Batman Begins and the 8 years since Retaliation are probably what we're looking at as a minimum. Maybe that means it will be revamped to be closer to the traditional storyline for TV, I don't know. Hard to find a silver lining on this cloud. I do think it's time for fans to tell Hasbro what they want. What they're doing in terms of Joe media isn't working. They need advice and guidance from someone and they're not getting it from Hollywood. Last edited by JediJones; 07-24-2021 at 10:37 AM.. |

Like Metallica said “Sad but true”…….here’s to sloppy punctuation and accuracy of observation. Just because don’t like to hear it, doesn’t make it untrue.

Yeah, there's box office rot for ip when it fails repeatedly. Something like Fantastic Four can use the MCU as a life line down the line. GIJoe doesn't get that kind of help.
