Dollar store junk. Far be it from me to tell people how to spend their money. I find the designs to be amateurish at best, some of the builds don't even resemble the vehicles they're based on and you can't even put the figures in the builds as there's no cockpit! Just a licensing deal for Hasbro, zero interest for me.

https://www.foreverclever.com/copy-of-my-little-pony Second, absolute laffo at the URL for the GI Joe product. I'm not mocking the company, I bet they're super small and caught totally off guard with massive interest in their products. Third, there's lots to grouse about with the product designs and how closely they resemble the actual toys, but the boxes are great and the pricepoints completely reasonable. I might buy a Rattler to open and build, but definitely want these for display purposes.

Interesting choices with later vehicles like the Mean Dog. It looks like some of the vehicles are scaled such that the drivers can’t fit into the cockpits.
Also a bit strange they used some correct code names and other just generic ones. |

I've found some at the ".99 only" chain, and can say the Ferret, Fang and Speed Cycle come 4 each per case. Haven't spotted the larger sets yet.

Yeah, there was a whole slew of "Ross Exclusives" at the tail end of both Rise of Cobra and Pursuit of Cobra. But while their arrival at Ross was a surprise I think they had at least been seen before they showed up, even if at the time listed as "Discontinued exclusives" (Some of them still had Target stickers on them when they hit Ross IIRC).

I'd never even heard of Tuesday Morning before, but I looked up their web site and it turns out there's a store in my area. I went today and found it hidden on the backside of a shopping plaza that I never even realized had any stores around back. (It's basically this, a Domino's, and a nail salon there.)
Sadly, no G.I. Joe product of any kind. The toy section was pretty sad, frankly. Just some 6- or 7-year-old low-end Star Wars junk and some puzzles. I might try again next week. Not holding out much hope, though. I also tried Five Below and Dollar Tree for good measure, but no joy at those either. |

The Lego aspect is ok. Not great but ok. I'm after them for the boxes. Hope these make it to Dollar General and in good condition as that's about my only source. Between these and the upcoming Super7 I'd be in Vintage Joe art heaven!

I have to admit I am in love with the box art like everyone else but I'm also a huge fan of the old Kre-o GI Joe line. I have the whole line plus several of Gee's customs. I enjoy taking the official products and augmenting them to improve appearance, size or functionality when possible.
Im still curious to see comparison pictures of some of these vehicles (Hiss, Snow Cat, Skystriker) with figures (even lego or Kre-o) beside them to determine if I could combine sets to make better versions or create space in the cockpit/drivers areas to sit a figure. Either way I am sure I will be in for several of these just due to the welcoming price and the awesome box art. |

I want all of these, I think the boxing alone is great and will fit pretty well next to the retro vehicles.

I hope if Jada ever gets around to the larger vehicles they do something like this--maybe with a flip cover. But for now these fit the bill just fine!
