They seem more like the "Steel Brigade" to Longbow's "G.I. Joe." The literature calls the Adapt Troopers "G.I.s" and refers to their being a product of "the Pentagon's ADAPT Protocol" and being intended to supplement U.S. Special Operations Forces:

The Marauders figure kind of fits that bill though. He's a desert trooper in this, but I'd be thrilled to get a woodland version in the next kickstarter. For me, one of them will be Dusty v.3.

Yeah, but I don't want the Marauder figure. I want a bog-standard US Army GI in Woodland BDUs and jungle boots with a PASGT helmet and vest and an M16.

First Shots
Our friends at SKELETRON shared an update last week, including First Shots of the Retro Wolf-Trooper/Skeletron( and GHOST) o-ring figure. The next part of the process is that we will review these first shots and ask the factory to make adjustments to fine-tune the fit and details of the figure. With each of these steps, these figures get closer to delivery!
