As an all-in backer, they have to roughly unlock 10 figures for it to be financially worth my time vs buying them individually. We're at 6 currently - a ways to go, but we're likely to get there. I'll be quite disappointed if we don't, and the options offered are pretty unclearly worded in generally IMO.

In the listing they mention "standard" figures will be packed on cardbacks and plastic blisters, which is great bc that's how I'd like to display them. But it's unclear what the "standard" figures are and if that includes the stretch goals (non-carded will be bagged with filecards like ARAH mailaways).

Lastly, the Krasny-Ninja stretch goal is $31K from the prior, not $30K. Curious if that's just a typo or if we'll see the stretch goal gap widen as more are unlocked.

I think we'll get there as well. I've never heard of this site before, but it is projecting things to end fairly well for the project. According to it, on track to hit $769,082 before it ends. We'll see I guess.

Well, sheesh, if we stick at the $30K increments for stretch goals, that's upwards of 20 more figures. Hope so!

yeah exactly lol. has me hype. trying to not get my hopes up too much yet though. The skystriker campaign was enough excitement for me for a while haha.

the Soviet ninja is a bonkers idea full stop, sickles for weapons aren't: the real ninjas used farming tools as weapons so if they got stopped, they'd be like, 'weapons, nah, I'm but a humble farmer!'

So all that?s been unlocked so far is carded. The first ?mail away? packaging will be the MTF Desert trooper which is the next unlock. They have said they will make it clear which are bagged.

I'm not an O-ring figure collector, but I really hope this KS is super successful. I see any Joe-style/related KS as a win-win for Joe collectors as a whole. This is probably the most fanboy homage I've seen toward the classic action figure line we grew up, and I love how the simple addition of swivel-wrist grip brings the O-ring style into the modern age.

One question about these figures; Since these are retro O-ring figures, has there been any discussion on what type/size O-rings Grindstone Toys are using? Even new O-rings break. So, I was just thinking of the ease of replacing the O-rings. Thanks.

I upped my pledge to all-in once Ghost was unlocked. Even if we don't get any further I'd be fine with multiples of that one to fulfill my order.

Of course, I doubt very much it will come to that. I think the momentum on this will carry us pretty far into stretch goals. And that Soviet ninja is just fantastic. The little fur hat is the best.
