I don't get the "it's too small" argument. There's a fine line between viable and obnoxiously big/expensive.

It's definitely not small. I mean, we know it isn't accurately scaled. But neither was the Flagg. But this is probably as close to scale as S7 could make it, while still keeping it at a good price, realistic size and toy functionality.

Talk about the Flagg being underscaled... the Terror Drome is probably the most underscaled toy in the line.

The Mothership shows up in the Season 2 episode "My Favorite Things". It's smaller and more gray and rounded like the Super7 toy. It doesn't really do anything in the episode, other than get blown up by a single grenade tossed from a mile away, but Destro does refer to it as the "Mothership" in the episode.

Good catch! I re-watched that episode thanks to your tip. It makes me wish they'd just continue Sunbow in that animation style. The colors, the characters, the tone. It all just works.

In one of the Toy Fair interviews posted a few pages back the one Super7 employee joked a bit about Lady Jaye, hiding her on the end, and said they improved Wave 3. Production samples in their boxes were on display.
