They're expensive over in the UK. Thulsa Doom is going for around 200, with Rexor and Thorgrim around 150 on eBay.

Smaller lines naturally keep rising in price later.

But Thundercats and TMNT seem to be made in enough amounts to go down in price. Especially TMNT, where the line seems to have just taken a turn for the worse and turned it's back on the entire point of it aka Playmates figures with modern articulation and sculpt.

TMNT has dropped in price because calling the figures they are doing now Z-listers would be generous.

I hadn't heard! But I just read he got moved to Wave 11 and will be "revised" according to Flynn. Really hoping "revised" means a lot more faithful to the original '89 toy - so rats and worms or centipedes or maggots and bones all over his body, a decomposed mummified face, his belt with the cat all run over with tire tread marks, his cross-bow, etc. Glad Super7 heard the fans and changed course and wants to give collectors more of what they want.

Now if Super7 ends up releasing a 100% faithful update to the original 1989 toy, Ramen Toys' alternate head won't be needed anymore.

If they're doing Z-listers, then what is NECA doing? You'd have to go into hexadecimal or the Greek alphabet.

The whole issue is overproduction. The market cooled off very rapidly for all toys around the middle of last year. They should be able to just make fewer and the problem of them going on sale will disappear. They're not like Hasbro where they have assortments and have to make the Z-list characters in the same numbers as the A-listers. They can scale the numbers all the way down.

Of course, the knock-on effect is that they can't justify as much new tooling and they will be more reluctant to make less popular figures. But if your long-term plan with Super7 is to get everything on sale, that's not going to happen. They're going to be out of business if that keeps up.
