We also have to take in consideration that those Amazon sales are of figures 2-3 years old after they were delivered to the retailers... So if you want Joe figures this year it would be the price tag on them or you will have to wait ANOTHER 2-3 years to get them cheap... I can't afford to wait anymore as other fellow Joe collectors!💡

Thanks for posting this. Very interesting. I think you're probably right as to what it was going to be. It would be great if they could offer something like that as a 'fund in' option and if enough do so it goes into production, but perhaps they've already read the tea leaves and decided interest in general is too soft.
There is something really powerfully apt about saying space is a concern for collectors because I know it is for me. I have room to grow and could retire other things, but with the likelihood of another Classified Haslab being offered this year, needing a place to display the Haslab Skystriker and just the general upkeep of having a pleasing display that doesn't look like a TRU threw up in my 'man cave'... space running out is a thing. My guess? You can't support the line with figures alone. You have to swing for the fences and hope a few hits land in that collector sweet spot and sell well. Perhaps the Artic Rescue set wasn't a home run nor was their diorama, but does that mean everything unilaterally will fail/underperform? Again this is just my two cents as to his mentality Super 7 is known for making big projects for a nitch fandom 💡😃

What actually was canned is the Hiss but not the undisclosed Giant vehicle for the Reaction line man...💡 Knowing Super 7 large projects from the past then this will happen and will mention it officially when they have a prototype! 😃

I took it as Brian would love to do this particular vehicle, but he's not convinced the market to support its size and cost is there.
I tend to agree with him, unfortunately. Destro's Silent Castle that's also O-Ring compatible makes the most sense to me, as a Kickstarter-type deal in the same vein as Snake Mountain and the recent Eternia playset from Mattel. Cost is still high, but its verticality lessens the need for space that a wide vehicle would. |

Agreed. Financially not prudent now that Brian has seen how soft the market truly is to "innovation" in the Joe line. It's sad too because for forever we've had to watch other legacy lines iterate and yet steadily remain on pegs for decades (i.e. Transformers as just one example) and yet Joe given a chance can't seem to drum up much interest beyond sales of figures.

Here is so far part of my Reaction Joe's collection. It took me a few hours to cut the figures from the cards and the remove the plastic from them... I still need to complete taking out of the plastic some figures and adding them to my shelves. Oh and I have another Pyramid of Darkness set!😃👍

I wish it were like that in the UK. Prices don't drop much, over here.
