You won't have to hope. These guys will be on eBay and Amazon sellers for less than MSRP almost immediately. And then EE, at least, will be marking them down heavily. Super7 stuff was way overordered when the Joe waves were first announced.

Kind of amazed how fast some stuff is hitting discount, even stuff that usually isn't ever discounted. Just grabbed Storm Collectibles Nakoruru for $58 and Golden Axe Tyris Flare and dragon for $84 on EE.
Makes me wonder if we've hit the limit on prices with all the sales of new stuff I've seen recently. |

They didn't "move". They've had that Vietnam factory making ReAction figures since before they got the MOTU license in 2017. They've had multiple factories all along. They still have factories in China. It's just a crapshoot which one you get and a crapshoot DOES explain the random QC issues.

Ninja-Ku were hitting the West Coast over the weekend.
Of course I got one, to keep Sei-Ten(Red Ninja) company. There at $18.79 now.

One caveat: Thundercats Ultimates Wave 1 and 2 were made in China, but Super7 no longer works with that factory. This is why it's confusing. There may be more than one factory in China making Ultimates and more than one factory in Vietnam. I'm not trying to apologize for Super7. It's ultimately their fault when something goes wrong. They picked the factories and it's their job to approve their work. |

I got Alice today. First, let me say how much I love soft goods (you will see why in the pics).
Second, she isn't as bad as the one blurry pic at D23 made it seem. However, Super7 simply doesn't know what it is doing with flesh colored plastic. It's just shiny and waxy looking. No other brand has this problem (not Mattel, not Hasbro, not NECA, not McFarlane) so don't let anything Flynn says persuade you this isn't preventable. Super7 also doesn't know how to "cut" the details on their figures deep enough show the features (this is my big problem with the upcoming Cobra Commander; his uniform details do not show up at all in the pics we've seen, especially compared to the Hiss Tank prototype). What other brand makes it hard to see where a nose begins and ends? That said, Alice earns a decent B from me. Way better than April. Not as good as the render. But not so bad that I'm bailing on the Joes like Lady Jaye and Scarlett.

Looks really good! As for that waxy plastic, that has been my biggest gripe with Super7 since they took over MOTU Classics years ago.
Maybe I have just gotten used to it or maybe they have improved a little since then though, as I don't find the TMNT Ultimates as bad as my MOTUC figures from Super 7.

Doesn't the Duke Ultimates have non-shiny skin tones in the near-final figure? As well as the Re-Action figures?
