I predict the next step up in Ultimates will be Fatal Flufflies. They'd be bigger than a normal figure and command a higher price with army builder potential built in.
And they'd be awesome if done right. |

Well to be honest IF Super7 attempted to make the big Cobra jet/base. Then I would honestly more likely expect that to be released for Reaction than Ultimates. Ultimates will be lucky to see a Hiss, or Mauler at that size given current prices. I would honestly put more money on a Trouble Bubble, Buzz Boar, Armadillo, SNAKE Armor, or Cobra Jet Glider at the Ultimates scale. Basically anything smaller vehicle wise to be able to attract enough buyers.
I could easily see the Reaction scale being more likely for the bit items as that would also snag vintage scale joe figure collectors JUST to have a piece to display along side the USS FLAGG for the Joes an The Jet base for Cobra figures. So would easily make way more money for them at the smaller Reaction scale.

I know they'll be too big, but you can bet I'm going to at least try displaying some Ultimates with the Classified HISS.

I now have all the Ultimates pre-ordered except for Baroness. Still waffling on the blue outfit vs waiting for the inevitable black one. Also waffling on pre-ordering a second Cobra Trooper.
Hoping that Comic-Con brings us the first production looks at Wave 1, if not Wave 2 as well. Brian Flynn has teased that he plans a big GI Joe presence at Comic-Con from Super7, and he definitely stayed out of sight with the brand during Yo Joe June so Hasbro could shine. Only three more weeks to go. |

...but I agree. I would love to find out some info about how the final production quality of wave 1 turned out. It would def help us decide if we wanna go full in on this line. |

If you want this for scaling or aesthetic comparisons I posted a picture earlier in the thread with Snake Eyes 00 next to various Super 7 Ultimates. The King Diamond and Papa Emeritus are probably closest to what the Joes will look like, size-wise.

Random thought. I was admiring my Arctic Rescue Mission set tonight and reiterate that I REALLY hope S7 announces another box set at SDCC. That set continues to impress.
