Given how long its been since Brain said that the Joe Ultimates should arrive inside of 60-to-90 days in the Full Force Interview. I hope that means that the first wave of GiJoe Ultimates figures should start arriving stateside soon.

Hope we get an update video showing off the final product.

There have been some sellers on Amazon that popped up recently that gave an August date.

Ya I actually just spotted the amazon listings a few hrs ago while rando searchin. But it seems like none of them are being sold by Amazon themselves. So it looks like its a reseller delay. Which I "hope" explains why they project an October release date for Wave 1 Ultimates Cobra Commander.

If the price truly goes to $75 (I thought Flynn was joking last year when he mentioned that price), then I don't see this Ultimate line going on very long or being particularly appealing.

I'm not surprised. I look at how the Demon Slayer BuzzMod line pre-orders seems to have gone from selling out quickly at $120 a pop to now being $150+ and no longer selling out pre-orders. Figmas are going up over $100.

Specialty figures seem to really be jumping up in price. Damtoys Resident Evil 1/6 figures went from $289 to $330 between releases. Exo-6 Star Trek 1/6, praised for being quality under $200, are now jumping beyond $200.

Maybe.

$50 to $75 though is a 50% increase. That's quite extraordinary. With a recession almost certainly coming this fall/winter, I feel many of these lines are going to die because they jumped so late on an inflation spike and flukish savings rate artificially elevated by COVID relief packages.
