Sure, if you're forcing me to choose, I think the painted rivets look better. But that's not something I care enough about to prevent me from buying the ReAction+ figures.

Not trying to stir the pot, as I'm aso in camp "I don't give a shit about the rivets", but both of those figures did actually have anodized rivets. I tried to get a pic, but it wasn't working out with the lighter colors in the lighting I have them in:

Ramar and Fatal Fluffy rumours have been attached to Reaction+ for close to a year now. Its not clear if they are definitely coming, and are in mainline W2. Amerang, an online retailer in the UK claim they are W2, but thats a lone voice from a small independent. It could easily prove to be inaccurate.

We will find out soon. Flynn said W2 is due Feb, we may see images or further confirmation before then?

True, but wave 1 had 6 figures if you count the twins. So if they add a mindbender and say a roadblock you would probably be okay. But agreed at a 50% clip with no new cartoon, people would be why do I care about a ramar and fluffy. Those are for collectors period.

You can call that anodized if you want to get super technical about it, but the rivets on both figures are a very different color than the surrounding plastic and very much stand out. That's different than, for example, Jinx or Gung Ho v2, which have rivets that more seamlessly blend in with their plastic.

My point being that there was never much consistency on this front, and the expectation that rivets should be invisible is unrealistic.

That had better be a plain cartoon Duke and not one with a molded-in headband. A headband accessory would be OK though.

I actually think it's just going to be 1983 cartoon Duke.

Another thing I remembered that stood out to me from that interview:

Several months ago, Red Jackal was a "we're not doing that"
Now, Cobra de Aco was mentioned as a "not at the moment" after going into that they had it on the table for awhile in design.

Sounds like what they are allowed to do is a bit wider in scope than he originally let on.

Unfortunately if this Duke is not a generic cartoon Duke, that means I'll be passing on the whole wave. I don't need Ramar or the Fatal Fluffies, they didn't do much of anything, and I really don't like cartoon Serpentor at all.
