So you understand, there's no "double standard." Due to off-site drama, the S7 threads have received an unnecessary amount of trolls and trolling. As such, they're being policed a bit tighter than other threads, for overwhelmingly/excessively negative posts - which is what gets our attention.
So instead of dissing others for their opinions, and acting like the Twins are a complete representation of the line, how's about you share something more regarding the other retail singles you "own," to offset your post history in this thread?

Both Delta-17 and even Strike Force Alpha have done a good job of emulating the G.I. Joe style in that regard. In comparison, the Super 7 figures have very smooth, almost cylindrical arms and legs, and shirts/jackets that look like they've been starch-pressed flat. Arguably, this comes down to a deliberate aesthetic decision, because the Super 7 figures are meant to be cartoon representations of the characters, and the original 1980s animation art rarely captured detail like that. However, what works in a cartoon may not work for everyone with a physical item in-hand. |

Nam, that's going too far ain't it? Smoke Bellow did say he was fine with the Singles. And it's not like Super 7 has a great QC reputation. If anything, their reputation there is awful. Maybe a separate thread for the QC issues on the Twins is needed? I don't think the issue will go away.

Better or worse, he actually engages - and it's not negative.

There are a lot of reasons why the problems with T&X could have happened, and it's hard to see any of them being Super7's fault. After seeing the head break on RoadPigJohn's figure with the hollow inside, I can't see blaming the engineering. The blue plastic, I suppose, could be a problem, but I'm more convinced that neither of the plastics were cured properly. Another possibility is rough handling before packaging, but that's also incredibly unlikely. It would at that point who asked to rush the curing of the plastic. Did Super7 have control over that, or was the factory in a hurry to get something else on the line?
I believe Super7 are ultimately responsible for getting us replacements that do not break, but beyond that, I don't think it's reasonable to expect something else. As others have said in this thread, the smoothness of the details are an aesthetic choice. Cobra Commander looks like he stepped right out of the cartoon. I'm personally more interested in seeing whether the problems continue when folks receive their replacement sets.
