i really liked the cobra infantry trooper 6 pack, i have a couple. and that's saying a lot becuase i also am not super into these very basic troopers.


it doesnt help their original heads were crap.

Same on all points. I always referred to the 6-er as "almost there". Growing up, I'd never actually seen the Trooper or officer figures. Having started in '86, my first Joe was a Viper, and that set the bar really high- I was mildly disappointed when I finally saw the OG trooper as an adult in '00 or so.

The infantry forces 6-pack was the closest Hasbro ever had to printing money. The most iconic troop builders, new parts, 6 for $20...

If the figures had better weapons, they'd be perfect, but there's no way they would have sold better, because they flew off shelves as it was!

I actually have a few of them in my shelves with two customs for Lt. Claymore and Dusty... I dislike the skinny fat torso from the old 83-84 Cobra Troopers... I would prefer them with a torso like Flak Vipers, Nullifiers or maybe Mercer.

Question for those that already have the Reaction+ figures. Can use use the Small Joes stands made for the original O-ring figures or the standard Reaction stands?
