They did but didn't the sign with the figures say "Target exclusive" and "BBTS exclusive" on it?

That's the million dollar question, for me!
Cover Girl makes me nervous, though. The lack of curves. Ideally, Super7's Lady Jaye would look closer to the pic in my sig. At least, in body shape.

My order from Super7 arrived a day early today. I'm liking these alot more than I expected. The oversized accessories aren't so bad in person as pictures make them out to be. If you have Super7 ReAction figure stands they don't fit at all. Old ARAH stands work though. All around I'm happy with them, my only complaint is that I expected better condition on the cards direct from Super7. I ordered two of each thinking I would get one keep carded, that didn't work out the way I expected. The cards weren't in very good condition. At least not worthy of keeping one carded.
It's a nice feeling putting an O-Ring figure on a stand not having to worry about breaking heel for once lol. Just stay away from 93-94 stands, those are too big. I can't wait for an 86 BAT repaint with a cartoon head and rifle. I'll finally be able to have the O-Ring BAT army I've dreamed of since I was a kid! They'll go perfect with the Sgt Slaughter from the Transformers crossover Kup/Triple T. |

I'd say the 5 poa figure had a better head. She even looks embarrassed about it in the card art.
I got my Cobra Commander today. The colors are nice, but it just doesn't feel like a G.I. Joe figure to me. The pistols are a waste. It reminds me of the Robotech figures in the 80s. They were similar, but too different for me. Like I've said before, the original figures are the benchmark for the characters looks to me. So making them cartoon or comic accurate doesn't matter much to me. ME figures always had a tribute-band feel to me. These are more like Remco figures cosplaying as Joes. I'm glad people like them though, and I may pick up another figure or two demanding on deco or parts scavenge-ability. And why are these labeled as being for ages 14 and up?! |
